– Open the grey connector -6- of the convenience system cen-
tral control unit -J393- -4- and unpin the black/green wire
from pin 2.
– Pin the wire on the vehicle side into pin 2 on the 3-pin con-
nector housing of the wiring harness.
– Pin the black/green wire of the Y-distributor into pin 2 of the
grey connector and secure the wires.
Note
Disregard items -1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8-.
– Push the safety lever -2- of the fixture for CAN disconnector
into the "open" position -in the direction of the arrow-.
– Push the release tab -1- and push through the fixture -3- for
the CAN disconnector towards the rear.
– Press the retainer tab -1- and release the safety clip -arrow-.
– Remove the CAN disconnector -2-.
– Pin the orange/brown wire of the retrofit wiring harness into
pin 6 L.
– Pin the orange/green wire of the retrofit wiring harness into
pin 6 H.
– Position and secure the CAN disconnector, and install the
mount for the CAN disconnector.
– Push the safety lever -1- on the fixture into the "closed" posi-
tion.
● Both markings -arrows- must be aligned.
