4. Setting of the end positions
4.1. Delivery status
In the SELVE delivery status no end positions are programmed into the motor! Safety func-
tions are deactivated at delivery and will only become active after both end positions are set.
In delivery status the SE Plus is in semi-automatic programming mode.
4.2. Setup functions
The end positions setting of a SELVE motor is possible via:
• the setting switch for SELVE motors (item no. 290103 or 291009) or with
• any standard switch (only in semi-automatic mode).
4.3. Mechanic requirements
The operation of the SE Plus as roller shutter motor is possible by using safety springs or
blocking springs. When using the SE Plus as awning motor the awning fabric will often be
connected directly with the fabric shaft.
Caution: There is no automatic setting of the lower end limit when using the SE Plus. The
lower end limit has always to be run-up to or also set.
Caution: When setting in semi-automatic and manual setting mode, a fixed upper end limit
has to exist if this end limit has to be recognized from the motor automatically.
