    Manta RS 36 BENUTZUNG DER KEHRMASCHINE Nötige Vorsichtsmaßnahmen • Die Kehrmaschine darf ausschließlich durch geschultes und befugtes Personal betrieben werden. • Wird die Kehrmaschine unbeauf-sichtigt stehen gelassen, so muß der Schlüssel 3 (Abb. 4) abgezogen und die Maschine mit der Bremse 7 (Abb. 4) gebremst werden.

    Manta RS 36 VORSCHRIFTEN FÜR EINEN STÖRUNGSFREIEN BETRIEB • Niemals Schnüre, Eisendrähte, Bandeisen, Wasser usw. aufsaugen; • Im Falle von größerem und besonders leichtem Schmutz (Papier, Laub, usw...), das vordere Flap der Kehrmaschine durch einen Druck auf das Pedal 8 (Abb. 3) hochheben. Die Lenkstange darf nur für die Zeit des Aufwischens dieser besonderen Gegenstände betätigt bleiben.

    Manta RS 36 DRIVE SYSTEM The motor-sweeper drive system comprises an electric motor 1, which drives the rear wheels and a control unit 3 which controls forward/reverse direction. By pushing the switch 6 (fig.3) placed on the steering wheel, the operator selects the direction (FORWARD or REVERSE) of the machine.

    Manta RS 36 STEERING SYSTEM The motor-sweeper is steered by means of steering wheel 1, which is connected to the front drive wheel. The steering wheel requires no adjustment. Service and parking brakes The brake is used to stop the motor-sweeper when it is moving and to keep it stationary on slopes.
  • Page 47 Manta RS 36 LENKUNG Die Lenkung wird direkt vom Lenkrad 1 auf das Antriebsrad betätig. Das Lenkrad muß nicht eingestellt werden. Betriebs- und Feststellbremse Die Bremse dient zum Anhalten der fahrenden Kehrmaschine und zum Parken derselben auf geneigten Flächen. • Die Bremsung erfolgt mittels Trommeln auf den Hinterrädern.

    Manta RS 36 SUCTION FAN The suction fan 1 sucks up the dust raised by the brushes. The fan is powered by an electric motor 2 controlled by switch 4 (fig. 3). Electric motor 2 also drives the main and the side brushes.

    Manta RS 36 DUST FILTER The panel filters remove the dust from the air sucked through the motor sweeper. The filters must be kept permanently efficient. N.B. If dust starts blowing out form the motor-sweeper, the filters are dirty and must be cleaned.

    Manta RS 36 STAUBFILTER Die Staubfilter haben die Aufgabe, die vom Ventilator angesaugte staubige Luft zu filtern und müssen daher stets in einem perfekt funktionsfähigen Zustand gehalten werden.. MERKE: Wenn die Kehrmaschine Staub aufwirbelt, so bedeutet dies, daß die Filtern verstopft sind.

    Manta RS 36 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The electrical system operates at 24 V and is powered by two 12 V, 140 Ah batteries connected in series. Never continue operating the motor-sweeper until the batteries run completely flat. When indicator 10 shows yellow, the batteries are starting to run down.

    Manta RS 36 BATTERY MAINTENANCE Keep the batteries dry and clean. Pay particular attention to the terminals and terminal bolts. At intervals depending on how much the motor-sweeper is used, check the level of the electrolyte. Top up with distilled water if necessary.

    Manta RS 36 WARTUNG DER BATTERIEN Die Batterien müssen stets sauber und trocken gehalten werden; dies gilt insbesondere für die Kontakte. Je nach Menge der Arbeit muß der Elektrolytpegel der Batterien geprüft werden und falls erforderlich mit destilliertem Wasser nachgefüllt werden.
