- You can now indicate to your assistant to simply
release the kite, without launching it. You're
ready to launch the kite.
∙ Landing the kite
- Kite stabilized at 45°, signal to an assistant that you want to land by tapping your head.
- Choose a clear area with no obstacles or abrasive part. Lower the kite gradually to the edge of the wind
window, releasing the bar at the same time.
- Once the kite is down on its wingtip, wait for your assistant to firmly grab the kite by the leading edge.
- Release the bar completely and walk towards your assistant to lose any line tension.
- You or your assistant can flip the kite over and land it on the ground. Perpendicular to the wind, intrados
facing down.
- Secure your kite putting sand or another heavy, non-abrasive object on it.
- Disconnect your chicken loop and safety leash. Unhook the lines from your kite and roll temp up.
SAFETY REFLEX :
䗂 If you have any problems during launch or landing, don't wait and use the chicken loop release.
The kite will turn over and land safely on its back, only held by the safety line and leash.
GOOD TO KNOW :
Once the kite has launched, it is not recommended
to leave it stationary at the zenith. An unexpected
gust can create excess power and lift you off the
ground. On the contrary, if the wind suddenly
drops, the kite could veer off course and fall into the
window.
