u Secure the external hose to connection "Condensate drain"
with the hose clip.
u Slide the thermal insulation part into the recess surround-
ing connection "Condensate drain".

u Using the mounting bend, fit a siphon with a water trap
height of at least 80 mm in the condensate hose.
u Fill the siphon with water.
u Also fit a thermal insulation part to the unused "Condensate
drain" connector.
If installing the appliance in a location with a tropical climate
(humid air and high outside temperatures), also fit a condens-
ate hose to the second "Condensate drain" connection.

Conversion between right-hand/left-hand
versions
The appliance offers the option of switching the (extract air/sup-
ply air) ducts on the living space side, with the (exhaust air/out-
door air) ducts on the outdoor air side from right to left.

A sticker is supplied as standard delivery for labelling the air
connections if the appliance is operated as a left-hand version.
u Affix the supplied sticker over the top of the sticker that was
factory-fitted to the appliance cover.
6.4.1 Removing the front panel

u To release the filter cover, press the cover fastening on both
sides of the appliance.
u Pull the filter cover forwards to remove it from the appli-
ance.

u Undo the screws on both tabs on the top of the front fascia.
u Undo the screws on the underside of the front fascia.
