Physical damage from incorrect
cleaning
SATAgraph 4 can be damaged if immersed
in solvent or cleaning agent or if cleaned in
an ultrasonic cleaning machine.
→ Do not place SATAgraph 4 in solvent or
cleaning agent.
→ Do not clean SATAgraph 4 in an ultra-
sonic cleaning machine.
In rare cases, it may be necessary to dis-
mantle some parts of SATAgraph 4 to clean
them thoroughly. If dismantling should be
necessary, this should be limited just to the
parts whose function brings them in contact
with the material.
■ Remove cover from material container and
dispose of material in a suitable disposal
container.
■ Fill material container with suitable clean-
ing agent.
■ Press trigger and rinse SATAgraph 4 until
material container is empty.
■ Clean SATAgraph 4 on the outside and
blow dry with clean compressed air.

11. Possible Malfunctions

The following table describes malfunctions,
their causes and corresponding remedies.
If it is not possible to remedy the malfunc-
tions with the described corrective action,
send SATAgraph 4 to the SATA customer
service department. (For address see chap-
ter 12).
