Bluetooth™ wireless technology
Bluetooth™ wireless technology facilitates wireless connections to other Bluetooth™
devices, for example, a Bluetooth™ headset. You can connect to several devices at the
same time or exchange items.
A range within 10 metres (33 feet), with no solid objects in between, is recommended for
Bluetooth™ communication.
To turn on the Bluetooth™ function
•
Select Menu > Paramètres > Connectivité > Bluetooth > Activer.
Some countries do not allow you to use Bluetooth™ wireless technology.
To show or hide your phone
•
Select Menu > Paramètres > Connectivité > Bluetooth > Visibilité > Afficher
téléphone or Masquer téléph..
If you select Masquer téléph., other devices will not be able to identify your phone using
Bluetooth™ wireless technology.
To pair the phone with a device

To search for available devices, select Menu > Paramètres > Connectivité >
Bluetooth > Mes appareils > Nouvel appareil.

Select a device from the list.

Enter a passcode, if required.
Make sure that the device you want to pair your phone with has the Bluetooth™ function activated
and Bluetooth™ visibility set to Afficher téléphone.
To pair the phone with a Bluetooth™ handsfree

Select Menu > Paramètres.

Press the navigation key right to scroll to the Connectivité tab and select
Bluetooth > Mains libres > Mes mains libres > Nouv. mains libres.
To receive an item

Turn on the Bluetooth™ function and set the Visibilité to Afficher téléphone.

When you receive an item, follow the instructions that appear.
To send an item using the Bluetooth™ function

Select, for example, Menu > Agenda > Gestionnaire fichiers > Album photos.

Scroll to an item and select Options > Envoyer > Par Bluetooth.
