The device shall be supplied from an isolating
transformer having a secondary overcurrent
protective device that complies with UL 248 to
be installed in the field rated either:
a) max 5 amps for voltages 0 V ~ 20 V (0 V ~
28.3 V peak), or
b) 100 / Vp for voltages of 20 V ~ 30 V (28.3
V ~ 42.4 V peak)
Alternatively, they can be supplied from a
Class 2 voltage supply.

For use in NFPA 79 Applications only
G20 products with AC voltage supply and with:

The sensors must be connected in a voltage-free state. The following information shall
be observed, depending on the connection type:
Male connector connection: Pin assignment
Cable: Wire color
Terminal connection: Pin assignment and the following points
Terminal connection:

Untighten the M3 screw on the back cover and remove the back cover.

Lead voltage-free supply cable through the 3/8" MPT (Male Pipe Thread) fitting,
spacer, rubber seal (as illustrated below) and the back cover opening in the right
position horizontally or vertically.

Tighten the 3/8" MPT (Male Pipe Thread) according to

Connect and secure each of the wires to the terminal block with a torque of 0.4 to
0.5 Nm
