Connecting the stationary contact edges
The safety contact edges (SKL) on the guidepost for
the Opening movement are connected to the terminal pair
Stationary Opening. If several SKLs are being used, these
must be connected in series and the last edge finished fitted
with a 8.2 kΩ resistor.
Stationary SKLs for the Closing movement are connected
accordingly to the terminal pair Stationary Closing.
Any stationary SKL channels that are not being
used must be connected to one of the supplied
8.2 kΩ  r esistors.
Connecting the control circuit
The control circuit for the Opening movement (stop opening
movement) must be connected to the Stop Opening
terminals and the control circuit for the Closing movement
(stop closing movement) must be connected to the Stop
Closing terminals.
Both outputs are redundant and self-monitoring with positively-
driven relay switching contacts and thus comply with Safety
Category 3 requirements in accordance with EN 954-1 and the
requirements of all relevant standards governing gates.
