- Select the position for the stationary coil core SPK 51.2 in such a way that the gate's movement
will not be restricted. Attach angle bracket (2a) to the ground, making sure that the angle bracket
is located vertically to and at the centre of the rail.
- The exact height must be adjusted in such a way that the steel cable is not being pulled down and
the coil core does not grind against the rail. Tighten the height adjustment screws once it has been
ensured that the steel cable can be easily threaded through the coil core.
- Mount the external electronics SPE 3 (7) to the moving gate body. Drill a hole into the rail in this
area in such a way that the coil core SPK 52.2 cable can be laid outside to the SPE 3. Connect the
cable to terminals 1 and 2 on the SPE 3.
- Connect the moving coil core SPK52.2 to terminals 1 and 2 of the moving evaluation electronics
SPE 3. To do so, connect the moving safety contact edge CLOSE (SKL 1) to terminals 5 and 6 of
the moving electronics SPE 3 and the optional safety contact edge OPEN to terminals 3 and 4.
If no OPEN safety contact edge is being used, contacts 3 and 4 are bypassed using the supplied
8.2kΩ resistor.
