1. Make sure that the work area is safe. Refer to
area safety on page 7 .
2. Fill the separator with abrasive material. Refer to
fill the product with abrasive material on page 14 .
3. Start the product. Refer to
page 15 .
4. Set the speed control dial to the lowest the speed.
5. Push the 2 joysticks forward to operate the product
forward.
6. Press and hold the STOP button for the left drive
motor to turn the product to the left. Press and hold
the STOP button for the right drive motor to turn the
product to the right.
7. Pull the control lever for the abrasive material to
open the valve. Refer to
the abrasive material on page 11 .
8. After 2 m/7 ft., push the control lever for the abrasive
material to close the valve.
9. Stop the product.
10. Do a check of the blast pattern. Adjust the blast
pattern if it is necessary. Refer to
pattern on page 17 .
11. Select the correct speed. Refer to
correct speed on page 15 .

12. Move the product (A) in parallel tracks. The dust
collector (B) must be connected to the product (A) by
the dust collector hose (C).

13. Push the left joystick backward to turn the product
around 360° to the left.
14. Push the right joystick backward to turn the product
around 360° to the right.
Blast pattern
The blast pattern (A) is the surface that has received
treatment.
A
For a good result the hotspot must be in the center of
the blast pattern. If the hotspot is too far to the left or
to the right, turn the control cage. Refer to
blast pattern on page 17 .
These are the conditions that have effect on the blast
pattern:
•
The direction of rotation of the blast wheel blades is
correct.
•
Increased wear on the blast wheel blades, impeller
and control cage.
