Make a recess on side cover panel

A recess must be made in both side covers for the con-
necting hose from the pump return line to the overflow
valve and the connecting hose from the overflow valve
to the pressure gauge.
1. Draw the position and dimensions of the recesses on
the two side cover panels.
2. Cut out the recesses.
3. An edge protector is included in the delivery specifi-
cation. This you should then fit to the metal edge of
the recess just made.

Mounting overflow control valve

1. Fit the connecting hose to the overflow control valve.

For EPS 815 as of PD 06-2002, the mounting bracket
is not required to assemble the overflow control
valve.
2. Mount the angle bracket to the overflow control valve.

3. Affix the overflow control valve to the test bench frame.
4. Route the connecting hoses (Fig. 26, item 1) and
(Fig. 26, item 2) through the recesses (see Fig. 26).
5. Fit the connecting hose item 1 to the manometer
connection for low pressure (250 kPa).
6. The connection hose (Fig. 26, item 2) is connected
to the pump return line.
7. The connecting hose (Fig. 26, item 3) is slid into the
test-oil tank.

If no opening is provided on the tank cap to pass
through the connecting hose (Fig. 26, item 3), a hole
must be drilled in the tank cap.

In order to perform the CP3 pump test, the return
line must be connected to the overflow connection
of the KMA (see Installation Instructions
1 689 978 452 or 1 689 978 531). The components
required for connection and fitting are contained in
the set of special accessories for CP3 pumps
(1 687 010 135 or 1 687 010 182).
