Note:
The display does not show which drink is being prepared (it corresponds to previous-
ly programmed type of coffee in the «Settings»).
If the standard settings meet your wish:
• Place a cup under the spout (4).
• Press the right control knob (3) once.
• The machine now prepares the drink.
Note:
If your programming in «My coffee» is «Cappuccino» or «Latte Macchiato», do not for-
get to connect a milk container to the machine (see fig. A).
TIP:
Dried milk residues are very difficult to remove. For this reason clean everything thor-
oughly after cooling down! Always comply with the message on the display «Rinse
frother» (see chapter 5.1).
If you would like to change the standard settings:

In this case the standard settings can only be changed if brewing is already
running.

The changeable setting is shown by blinking and can be adjusted by turning
the left control knob (2).

If brewing has been started too early or by mistake, the process can be inter-
rupted by pressing the right control knob (3).
3.7 Brewing with pre-ground coffee
• Open the lid of the pre-ground coffee chamber (12). The display shows «pre-
ground coffee ready» and «only one cup» alternately.
• Fill a level measuring spoon (13) with pre-ground coffee and close the lid again.
• The display shows «pre-ground coffee ready».
• Place a cup under the spout (4).
• Turn the right control knob (3) to the drink of your choice.
• If necessary adjust the «ml» display by turning the left control knob (2).
• Press the right control knob (3) once.
• The machine now prepares the drink.

If the preparation has been started too early or by mistake, the procedure can
either be cancelled by pressing the right control knob (3), or some settings can
be changed during the procedure. The settings that can be changed are indi-
cated by blinking and are changed by turning the left control knob (2).

If you have opened the powder shaft by mistake or if the control knob was not
pressed after powder had been filled, the appliance will be automatically
rinsed via the coffee outlet (4) one minute after the lid is closed again, and is
then ready for operation.
