The YPS08-Y and YPS08-Z are power supplies for use with certified Weigh Indicators.
The power supply YPS08-Y is suitable for use inside the potentially explosive atmosphere.
The power supply YPS08-Z is only suitable for use outside the potentially explosive atmosphere.

Both Power Supplies provide non-linear intrinsically safe outputs of;

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF USE: YES as shown below:
1.
The protective ground connectors on the YPS08-Y (and YPS08-Z) and the Hazardous Location Weighing Terminal shall be connected
together using a potential equalization conductor with a cross-sectional area of at least 4 mm
2.
The Model YPS08-Y and YPS08-Z Power supplies do not withstand a 500Vrms dielectric strength test between the circuits and the earth
ground. This must be taken into account during installation.
3.
The cable glands used were tested for low risk of mechanical danger (drop height 0.4 m with 1 kg mass) and shall be protected against
higher impact energy levels.
