4. Apply the rubber strip to the keypad foot. (The strip helps to keep
the keypad from sliding on smooth surfaces.

To detach the U-clamp from the console keypad:
1. Grasp the keypad as shown in Figure 4.
2. Place your thumbs along the edge of the U-clamp and then
press down and away from the keypad.
