What you need to run the 5550 IP Console
PC Requirements
The 5550 IP Console application runs on a PC that meets the
following minimum requirements:

100 BaseT/Ethernet Network Interface Card (NICs) that
supports 802.1p/Q
•
1 GHz or faster Pentium-compatible processor
(1.5 GHz processor recommended)
•
32 bit Windows XP Professional, 32 bit Windows Vista
(Business, Enterprise and Ultimate versions only)
•
32 bit Windows 7 (Business and Ultimate versions only)
•
64 bit Windows 7 Enterprise edition
•
1 GB of RAM for Windows XP or Windows 2000
2 GB of RAM for Windows Vista
•
4 GB hard drive minimum
•
17-inch SVGA monitor (1280 x 1024 resolution)
•
CD-ROM drive
•
AT 101 enhanced keyboard
•
Mouse
•
Sound card with speakers
•
A local area network connection.
NOTE 1: The 5550 IP uses the COM1 port on the PC to interface
with a Property Management System (PMS). Use of the port by other
applications is not recommended.
