NOTE: When the gyro is in heading hold mode, the servo will drift in one direction. This
phenomenon is NORMAL.
Cable connections for the gyro
Simply connect the gyro in series between receiver and the tail servo.

When the the remote gain is not connected, the gyro is always in single mode.
("Heading-Hold Mode" is always active when in single mode).
Step 1: Connect the rudder servo to the "SERVO" connection at the gyro.

SETTING UP
1• Switch the transmitter "ON".
2• Switch the receiver "ON" and DO NOT move the helicopter until the LED on
the gyro lights blue. (it takes a few seconds to turn blue).
3• Set up your transmitter
Inhibit the following fonctions (if there is any) of your transmitter:
• ATS (automatic tail stabilization)
• Pilot authority mixing
• Throttle to rudder mixing
• Rudder to gyro mixing
• Pitch to rudder mixing
• Revolution mixing
4• Verify if the gyro operates in the correct direction. If it operates in the wrong
direction, mount the gyro upside down. (Seek expert help if you are not sure
about this step)
5• Gain control
Single mode: Adjust the gain control - → + on the gyro (use a small screwdriver
to tune), to obtain maximum performance.
Dual mode:
Adjust the gain control on transmitter Gyro Gain channel of ATV to
obtain maximum performance.
RUDDER TRIM ADJUSTMENT (Before flying)
For a correct functioning of the gyro, it is important to trim it accurately.
1• Set the rudder trim and sub-trim (if available) to neutral position.
