It is possible to proceed with the electrical connection using a cable embedded into the wall in a position as
indicated in the installation template (recommended connection for installing the appliance is to the upper
part of the wall).
• This operation must be performed only by the installer or any similarly qual-
ified personnel and in compliance to the current national regulations.
• To prevent the risk of an electric shock it is mandatory to switch off the main
switch before performing the electrical connections or any maintenance op-
eration to the appliances.
To replace the power cord, proceed as follows:
a. Remove the lower cover (interlocking) (A) (fig. 25).
b. Remove the upper cover (interlocking) (B) (fig. 25).
c. Unscrew the 6 screws that lock the front cover (fig. 26).
d. Remove the front cover (C) (fig. 27) and remove the cover of the electrical box (D) (fig. 27).
e. Unscrew the cable clamp (E) (fig. 27) and unscrew the cable locking screws of the terminal block (F)
(fig. 27).
f. Remove the present cable and insert the new cable following the same path.
g. Remove the wooden wedge on the back of the machine.
h. Lock the three poles of the cable in the terminal block and tighten the screws (F) (fig. 27).
i.
Secure the cable with the clamp (E) (fig. 27).
l.
Close the board protection (D) (fig. 27).
m. Refit the front cover of the machine with the six screws.
n. Reassemble the two interlocking covers (upper and lower).
These operations must be carried out with the machine already positioned on the bracket, also
carefully read the following instructions before completing the electrical connection.
2.5 - TOP/BOTTOM INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION
The unit can be installed both in the lower part (adjacent to the floor) and in the upper part (adjacent to the
ceiling) of the wall.
To optimize air distribution and ambient comfort, the direction of the air flow can be changed by changing
the position of the air outlet flap.
AIR OUTLET FLAP CONFIGURATION CHANGE FROM LOW WALL TO HIGH WALL AND VICE VERSA
Work as follows (see fig. 28-29):
a. Delicately open the flap and detach it from its side and central hooks on the deflectors.
b. Remove the pin (P1) and rotate the flap 180°.
c. Insert the pin (P1) on the right side of the flap.
d. Re-insert the flap by inserting the pin (P1) in the lower hole located on the right of the opening (P2) and
insert the pin already located in the appliance in the lower hole located on the left of the opening.
UPPER WALL CONFIGURATION DETERMINES AN AUTOMATIC CORRECTION OF THE ROOM
TEMPERATURE EQUAL TO 3°C IN HEATING MODE.
For correct functionality, each modification of the configuration of the air outlet
flap must correspond to the relative modification of the electronic configuration.
