Assembling the support rod

Note! (
Review the mounting and safety instructions of the IKA boss head clamp
prior to using it. (see "Accessories")
The device must not be suspended from the support rod!
Procedure
Remove the threaded plug in the threaded hole (O).
1.
Remove the protective cap from the support rod.
2.
Place the washer between the housing and the nut.
3.
Screw in the support rod manually until it no longer can be tightened.
4.
Tighten the nut using an SW17 open-end spanner.
5.
Assemble the accessories using a boss head clamp.
