The DISTRIWEL (Automatic Pourer Stacker) is an automated device for filling and stacking Petri dishes with diameter
90mm*.
*The compatible Petri dishes have the following dimensions :
Maximum diameter of the bottom part of Petri dish : 87.5 mm

Lid diameter : between 91.5 and 93 mm.
o
Maximum height of the Petri dish (bottom + lid) : 17.8 mm
o

It has a stacking capacity of 440 dishes for a maximum dispensing speed of 750 dishes/hour using 15ml doses in each
dish.
This very compact device comprises a single carousel that can hold 12 Petri dish columns, with one column always
being left empty to enable dish transfer.
The DISTRIWEL manufactured by Alliance Bio Expertise is controlled by a microprocessor. It has a programming
capability of 60 different cycles. Once the volume of the prepared media and the volume to be dispensed into each
dish has been programmed in the automated media preparation system, the device automatically calculates the
number of dishes to be filled. During the cycle, the device constantly displays the number of dishes already dispensed.
