Optical sensor calibration
This calibration has to be performed at the working location of the machine.
The procedure does not require any dismantling operation as it is done by using the touch screen only.
La procedure is the following:
•
Remove all the petri dishes from the Mediawel,
•
Switch on the machine,
•
On the touch screen : Select the menu "PARAMETTERS" then "MAINTENANCE"
•
In the field « access code », enter the code SERVICE, then validate by pressing the green key,
•
When the screen "Service 1" is fully opened, press

Place 2 petri dishes stacked at the position 1 (unloaling column of the carrousel)
o
Place 1 dish at the position 2 (front position), between the two disks of the transfer disk in order to
get its lid located underneath the top disk at the top of the dish,
Place a dish lid at the top of the transfer disk at the position 2 (above the dish that has just been
o
put). The position 2 has then 1 bottom and 2 lids in order to get the measurement made by the 3
optical sensor,

Disposable plastic cups are used to recover the agar when priming
the pump, and if there are any leaks due to a broken dish.
These cups must be changed every day to prevent any risk of
contamination.
