This lets you access the "service" menu
•
Just press on the arrows corresponding to the piston to move it to the raised position
Once you have cleaned the piston:
Lower the piston by pressing on the down arrow.

Switch the device off.
•
Replace the plate
•
Replace the cross, making sure that it is correctly fitted on the indexing pin and shaft. Rescrew the tightening
handle.
•
Replace the carousel on its shaft and slot in onto the positioning pin, then replace the handle.
The device is now ready to be switched on and used again.


Autoclaving the hoses

The DISTRIWEL is used for sterile dispensing of culture media into Petri dishes under UV light.
The dispensing hoses have to be autoclaved:

Recommendations: for 15 min at a moist heat of 121°C; 136°C for decontamination.
Take care not to store autoclaved hoses for more than one week.
