The instructions concerning safety at the workplace refer to the EU Directives in force at the time of
manufacture of the appliance. If the appliance is used in industrial conditions, during the entire
period of use, the user must check compliance of the specified safety devices with the current
regulations in this sector, and comply with the new regulations. If the appliance is used outside the
European Union it is necessary to comply with the local regulations on health and safety at the
workplace in force at the place of use of the appliance.
In addition to the requirements for health and safety at the workplace contained in this handbook
it is necessary to comply with the specific regulations concerning protection of the environment in
force at the place of use of the appliance.
Carefully read this installation, operation and servicing handbook before installing and using
the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance in operation unsupervised. Keep the appliance away from children
and all unauthorised individuals; the appliance is not suitable for use by individuals (including
children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory capacity, with lack of experience and
knowledge, without supervision or instructions from a person responsible for their safety.
The appliance must only be used by duly trained personnel who are fully aware of the safety
requirements and the operational instructions contained in this handbook.
Do not touch the moving parts of the appliance. Always keep hands, hair, clothing and kitchen
utensils away from the moving parts during operation in order to limit the risk of injuries to
individuals and/or damage to the appliance. Also avoid wearing clothes with wide sleeves or
flapping parts, necklaces etc., which could get caught or trapped in the appliance's moving parts.
The operator must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) suitable for the working
conditions to ensure the operator's safety and to comply with local health and safety
regulations.
This handbook must carefully looked after. If the appliance is transferred to third parties this
handbook must also be handed over, as it is an integral part of the appliance.
All users must follow the instructions contained in this handbook and comply with the
requirements for health and safety at the workplace.
The appliance can only be used indoors and it is not suitable for use outdoors and/or in
explosive environments.
The appliance is not suitable for use in ATEX environments.
Do not pull the power supply cable to disconnect the power supply plug.
The appliance should not be used with an external timer or remote control.
Do not put metal objects like forks, knives, spoons, pots' lids etc. on the appliance, as they could
become very hot.
Do not put aluminium sheets or plastic pots or containers on the cooking surface of the
appliance, as it could still be hot from a previous use. The appliance's surface should not be
used as a worktop or as a support.
Do not wear jewelry, chains, rings, bracelets, watches etc. in metal when using the appliance:
these and other metallic objects can become very hot if kept at less than 20 cm from the
appliance when operating.
Use only pans, pots and cookware of the kind and dimensions indicated in Tab.2 - Sect.10. If in
doubt regarding the material of pans/cookware, use a magnet: if the magnet is strongly
attracted from the bottom of the pan/pot/cookware, then the material is suitable to be used
for induction cooking.
