This handbook contains details for installation of the appliance, its operation and its servicing, and
it is an important source of information and recommendations. In order to use the appliance
correctly and in full safety it is necessary to understand and comply with all the instructions in the
handbook regarding safety and operation of the appliance.
It is also necessary to comply with local regulations concerning the prevention of accidents and the
principles of health and safety at the workplace.
This handbook is an integral part of the appliance and must be kept close to the appliance so that
the personnel installing, servicing, operating and cleaning the appliance can have easy access to the
handbook.
Important instructions concerning safety and technical aspects have been highlighted in this
handbook with suitable symbols. These instructions must be compiled with to avoid any accidents,
with harmful consequences on the health of individuals and damage to objects.
WARNING!
This symbol indicates a hazard that may cause injuries. The instructions concerning health and
safety at the workplace must be strictly and scrupulously complied with and particular care must
be paid in some specific cases.
HAZARD! Live components!
This symbol indicates a hazard linked with the presence of electricity. Ignoring the safety
instructions may lead to the risk of injury or even the loss of life.
WARNING! Hot surface!
This symbol informs about the risk of burns in case the hot cooking surface should be touched
without the appropriate protections.
PROHIBITION! Removing/deactivating/modifying the safety devices is strictly forbidden!
This symbol informs about the prohibition to remove/deactivate/modify the safety devices. To
ignore the safety indications may result in risk of serious body injuries due to the presence of
electricity and electromagnetic fields.
