Then section the tray into single-tooth segments and position these single-tooth segments on the maloccluded
model. Apply a strip of LinguSil (REF 164-000-00) over the single-tooth segments to produce a full-arch or
sectional tray. The finished tray is the transfer tray for the orthodontist.
Apply around the dental arch in a uniform layer and
encase the lingual brackets.
Then cover the occlusal incisal edge, producing the
finished, syringed full arch silicone tray as shown in the
adjacent figure.
LinguSil can very easily be manually smoothed using
soapy water, before it is fully polymerized.
Trim the polymerized silicone tray to the required shape
with a scalpel.
