4. Transfer tray
After all the brackets have been bonded on the model as described, a transfer tray or single-tooth trays should
then be fabricated.
The shape and size of a customized transfer tray should be decided in consultation with the orthodontist.
There is the option of a single-tooth, sectional or full dental arch tray.
4.1 Fabricating a silicone tray using LinguSil (REF 164-000-00)

Position the convertible lingual brackets or tubes
(adhesive technique) using the special placement aid
(REF 076-115-00). Press the "wings" of the placement
aid together so that the jaws open wide enough to fit
a convertible lingual bracket or tube in between them
(adhesive technique). Insert the tips of the jaws into both
sides of the slot by carefully removing the pressure from
the wings.
Secure the placement aid with the bracket or tube in the
guide arm or posterior positioning plate and check the posi-
tion. Then complete bonding according to section 3.7.
Follow the same procedure as for the upper jaw in
selecting the arch size, positioning the brackets in the
anterior and posterior region, placing the lingual tubes
and bonding.
It is essential to completely encase the brackets and
occlusal surfaces of the teeth in one working stage.
We recommend beginning at the distal when applying
LinguSil (two-component silicone).
