3.8 Removing the magic

The green Elasto-Force chain with bar (REF 774-230-00) has been used in these instructions for use instead of the

transparent magic SUPER Elasto-Force chain with bar (REF 774-210-00) to show clearly the individual steps for securing
®
the anterior brackets on the positioning holders. Only the magic
should be used for ligating the treatment arches intraorally.
Replace the anterior positioning jig in the LinguSet unit
and lower to the correct level of the arch. The adhesive
should completely fill the space between the base of the
brackets and the lingual surface of the teeth and exude
from the side of the bracket base.
Completely remove the excessive adhesive flash using the
LinguBall instrument (REF 023-275-00).
Light-curing adhesives (eg ConTec LC, REF 163-511-00)
should then be polymerized with a suitable light-curing
lamp (eg Hilux Ledmax 1055, REF 073-000-02). Follow
the instructions for use for the bracket adhesive.
