the anterior brackets on the positioning holders. Only the magic
should be used for ligating the treatment arches intraorally.
Select the posterior bracket placement aid, taking into
account the step between the second premolar and the
first molar. Ensure that the space between the posterior
positioning jig and teeth is as uniform as possible so that
an optimal thin, uniform adhesive layer may form provi-
ding the best comfort to the patient.
Secure the posterior positioning jig in the guide arm
(Fig. 1, No. 1) of the LinguSet. The posterior brackets are
ligated into the bracket placement aid using a magic

The level of the arch, which is fixed using the height
adjustment screw (Fig. 1, No. 2), should not be altered
during ligation.
Follow the same procedure for the posterior region as for
the anterior region: remove the posterior positioning plate
from the vertical guide arm, clean the bracket bases with
alcohol, dry them and apply adhesive. After replacing the
plate, light-curing materials should be polymerized with a
light-curing lamp.
To position the lingual tube, slide it onto the tube place-
ment aid (REF 076-108-00). Secure the tube placement
aid in the posterior positioning plate and check the posi-
tion. Bonding is completed according to the technique
described for the brackets (see Fig. section 3.7).
