4. General information
in the conditions or the condition of the material, the warranty for the flawless over-
all function of the units shall lapse. The warranty period for wearing parts (e.g.
batteries) is 6 months. Keep the original packaging for possible return transport!
4.8 Battery and accumulator disposal
Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked
with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin and must not be disposed of with
household waste. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. You can hand in your old batteries and accumulators
as hazardous waste at the public collection points in your municipality or wherever
batteries of the type in question are sold. You will find these signs on batteries
containing harmful substances: Pb = battery contains lead, Cd = battery contains
cadmium, Hg = battery contains mercury.
According to the current state of knowledge, the appliance does not contain any
special environmentally hazardous substances. This product is not to be treated
as normal waste, but must be handed in at an acceptance point for the recycling
of electrical and electronic equipment. For more information, contact your local
authority, the municipal waste disposal services or the company from which you
purchased the product.

cial environmentally hazardous substances. This product is not to be treated as
