4. General information
Before any cleaning, the scale must be disconnected from the power supply. The
appliance may only be cleaned with a damp cloth. Under no circumstances should
water be allowed to enter the unit. Disinfectant may only be used on the display's
membrane keypad.
Clean the scale as required with a household cleaner or commercially available
disinfectant. Spraying the unit and the connection plug is not permitted.
4.6 Maintenance and service
The metrological control was carried out during manufacture by initial calibration.

by the responsible calibration authorities in accordance with the respective natio-
nal rules.
This scale may only be opened and repaired by trained service partners authorised
by Soehnle Industrial Solutions. If the scale does not
operates as intended, there is a suspicion of damage.
The scale must then be taken to a service partner authorised by Soehnle Industrial
Solutions. Only original spare parts may be used for repairs by an authorised ser-
vice partner. The original parts are described in the service documentation with
order number.
4.7 Guarantee / Warranty / Liability
Insofar as there is a defect in the delivered item for which the manufacturer is res-
ponsible, the manufacturer is entitled to choose either to remedy the defect or to
supply a replacement. Replaced parts shall become the property of the manufactu-
rer. If the remedy of the defect of the replacement delivery fails, the statutory pro-
visions shall apply.
The warranty period is 24 months and starts on the day of the first purchase of the
product. Please keep the invoice as proof. In case of service, please contact your
dealer or the manufacturer's customer service.
In particular, no warranty is given for damage resulting from the following rea-
sons:
Unsuitable, improper storage or use, faulty assembly or commissioning by the
purchaser or by third parties, natural wear and tear, modification or tampering, faul-
ty or negligent handling, in particular excessive stress, chemical, electrochemical,
electrical influences or moisture, insofar as these are not due to a fault of the ma-
nufacturer. If operational, climatic or other influences lead to a significant change
