Introduction
State or local laws and regulations may require this instrument to be inspected and certified by an
authorized inspector or agent before you may use it in commerce with customers.
METTLER TOLEDO takes reasonable steps to keep its products in conformity with various nationally
recognized standards and regulations. However, our prices do not include the cost of any related
inspections, permits or inspection fees that may be required by any federal, provincial, state or local
laws, ordinances, regulations, codes or standards.
Initial adjustment for verification
After putting the balance into operation, an adjustment dialog appears on the display. After executing
this adjustment, the dialog disappears.
The adjustment weight is available.
The weighing pan is empty.
1 Connect the balance to the power supply using the appropriate AC/DC adapter and country-
specific power cable.
2 Level the balance.
3 Press
to switch on the balance.
4 Let the balance warm up for approximately 30 minutes.
The display shows the required adjustment weight.
