Possible alternative: Wash in the dishwasher
• Clean the nebuliser in your dishwasher (not together with dirty crockery).
• Distribute the nebuliser parts in the cutlery basket.
• Select a programme of at least 50°C.
6.3.2
Disinfection
Disinfect the dismantled nebuliser after cleaning.
Recommended method: Using a standard disinfector for baby bottles
Disinfection must last at least 15 minutes. As regards disinfection and the
quantity of water necessary make sure you observe the instructions for use
of the relevant disinfector. Always check carefully that it is clean and fully
functional.
Possible alternative: In boiling water
• Place the individual parts of your nebuliser in boiling water for at least 15
minutes.
Use a clean saucepan. If your local tap water is hard, please use low-lime
or distilled water.
Ensure that the water level in the pot remains high enough to prevent the neb-
uliser parts from coming into contact with the hot base of the pot.
6.3.3
Drying
• Place the nebuliser parts on a dry, clean and absorbent surface and let
them dry completely (at least 4 hours).
6.3.4
Storage
• Between uses, and in particular during long breaks in treatment, wrap the
nebuliser in a clean, lint-free cloth (e.g., a tea-towel) and keep it in a dry, dust-
free environment.
