3.3. Track Tension Adjustment

As stated earlier in this manual, the track will to stretch
during your first ride. To prevent premature wear of
components or failure that a loose track may cause, here is
the way to adjust track tension. The following steps refer
to one track. However, all of the tracks follow the same
procedure for tension adjustments.
Please note : Some parts had been hidden in following
figures for a better understanding.
1. Align the track adjustment hole with the 1/2"
adjustment bolt of the track adjuster.

2. Loosen the 3/8" nut retaining the track adjuster to
the structure.

3. Loosen the 1/2" jam nut (A) of the adjustment bolt
on the track adjuster using the track tension
adjustment tool (B).

4. Put a straight edge on track as shown (see Figure 18).

5. Apply a force at mid point while measuring the
track deflection.
6. Adjust the track tension by screwing or unscrewing
adjustment bolt until the track adjuster moves.
7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 until the track tension is within specs.
8. Tighten bolts, nuts and jam nut which were
loosened in steps 2 and 3.
WARNING
Do not overtighten the track, a performance loss or
component damage may occur.
