4.3.2 Connecting remote control FET to heat pump

f Connect a free terminal on the WPM or on the WPE to the
FET terminals.

f Before working on the appliance, isolate it from
the power supply at the control panel.
Following disconnection from the power supply,
parts of the appliance may remain energised for
2 minutes until the inverter capacitors have dis-
charged.

5.1
Heat pump cascade with a separate
control MCB
f Install all heat pumps and control units.
f Fill and vent the heat pumps.
f Isolate the control MCBs and load circuit MCBs from the
power supply.
f open the heat pumps so that you can access the integral
heat pump control unit IWS.

f In all heat pumps, switch the DIP switches on the IWS to
cascade operation.

Note
The following steps only apply to heat pumps posi-
tioned from second through to last in the cascade. The
first heat pump remains off.
f Activate the control MCB of the heat pumps specified
above.

f Press the RESET button on each IWS for 10 seconds until
the three LEDs show a steady light.
f Deactivate all control MCBs.
Heat pump 1
f Activate the control MCB for the heat pump and those for
the control units.
f open the menu on the WPM.

f Ensure that the number of the heat pump (e.g. "WP1") is
displayed with the IWS software version.
f open the menu on the WPM.

pump ID.

f Activate the control MCB for the heat pump.
f open the menu on the WPM.
