PA Mode
Follow the procedure below to position the patient for PA mode:
1.
Turn the Nasal Positioner to the PA/Waters' view and Carpus marker, as shown
below.
2.
Fold the Nasal Positioner up. The Nasal Positioner is not used for PA mode.
3.
Guide the patient to the CEPH unit.
4.
Ask the patient to stand erect, facing the sensor. The patient's shoulder must be
parallel to the floor and his or her neck must be relaxed.
