4. Acquiring CEPH Images (Optional)
4.2.1
Lateral / Full Lateral (Optional) Mode
Follow the procedure below to position the patient for Lateral or Full Lateral mode:
1.
Turn the nasal positioner to the Lateral mode marker, as shown below.
2.
Widen the distance between the two ear rods
3.
Guide the patient to the CEPH unit
4.
Ask the patient to stand erect. The patient's shoulder must be parallel to the floor
and his or her neck must be relaxed.
5.
Press the Column UP/DOWN Button on the control panel or CEPH unit to adjust
the column's height for the patient. You can also use the Column UP/DOWN
switch provided as an option.
