PANO Examination Mode (Standard/Right/Left/Front/Orthogonal)
When positioning the patient for the pano mode, different techniques must be applied
depending on the patient's dental condition. For the patient lacking teeth, go to 3.2.1.2
Edentulous Patient Positioning.
3.2.1.1
Normal Patient Positioning

Insert the Normal Bite into the Normal Chinrest. Cover the bite with a
sanitary vinyl (plastic) cover.

Guide the patient to the equipment
3.
Press the Column UP/DOWN Button on the control panel or CEPH unit to adjust
the Column's height for the patient. You can also use the Column UP/Down
switch provided as an option.

Sanitary Vinyl Cover
Normal Bite
Use a new plastic cover for each patient. The sanitary
vinyl (plastic) cover must be disposed of after the X-ray
imaging.
Use the approved plastic cover only to ensure the
patient's safety.
Clean the chinrest and the bite with ethanol and wipe
them with a dry towel each time the patient leaves the
equipment.
