SPECIAL Examination Mode (TMJ/Sinus)

TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) Mode
You can acquire a set of images after taking an X-ray on TMJ mode. TMJ Open is
acquired with the patient's mouth open, and TMJ Close with the closed mouth. The
imaging sequence is important for TMJ mode. You first undergo TMJ open mode
before acquiring TMJ close image.
Acquiring a TMJ image consist of six steps:

Insert the Special Bite A into the Normal Chinrest

Turn the Temple Supports OPEN/CLOSE Knob to open the Temple Supports.

To acquire a clear image, the patient must stay in the same
position until the imaging process ends.
Clean the Chinrest and the Bite with ethanol. And wipe the
areas with a dry towel before guiding the patient to the
equipment.
