Guide the patient to the equipment.

Press the Column UP/DOWN Button on the control panel or CEPH unit to adjust
the Column's height for the patient. You can also use the Column UP/Down
switch provided as an option.
5.
Ask the patient to stand in the center of the equipment as outlined below:
•
Grab the handles with both hands
•
Stand erect and stretch the neck straight.
•
Have shoulders parallel.
•
Lean forward until the chest press against the equipment.
•
Put the chin on the chinrest
6.
Ask the patient to rest the acanthion point (the base of the nose) on Special Bite A
and tilt the head forward about 5˚. Ensure that the patient's jaw does not touch
the equipment. It can be difficult for the patient to stay in the proper posture if his
or her jaw touches the equipment.
7.
Ask the patient to follow the instructions below until the imaging procedure ends.
•
Open the mouth
•
Place the tougue on the roof of the mouth
•
Close the eyes

The Chinrest for Green X series is designed to go down
automatically for TMJ mode. Ensure to position the patient
after the chinrest went down.
