ATTACHING THE FEET

The supplied feet can be fitted to aid stability and keeping the
saw level. To fit the feet;
• Turn the saw over so the bottom of the saw is facing
upwards (fig. 1), making sure the blade is wound all the way
into the body of the saw.
• Insert one of the four M5 bolts (F) through a hole on one
corner of the saw body.
• Once the bolt protrudes through the bottom of the saw,
place one washer (J), followed by a rubber foot (K) and a
second washer (J) over the bolt. Use a M5 Hex key to hold
the bolt and secure the whole assembly together with the
ø6mm nylock nut (I) (fig.2).
• Repeat the previous steps on the remaining three corners.

Note: When mounting the saw to a table saw station or similar,

be used to mount the saw securely.

THE FENCE RAIL

• Loosely fit the three coach bolts G) within the three holes of

the machine using ø6mm nuts (H). Hand tighten only.
(Fig. 3)
• Remove the black plastic end cap from the left edge of the
fence rail. Set aside for re-fitment later.
• Slide the fence rail over the three protruding bolt heads
(Fig. 4) until the right edge of the fence rail is aligned with
the right edge of the table top and fully tighten the bolts.
• Replace the left fence rail end cap.

ADJUSTMENT

WARNING: The machine must not be connected to the mains
supply when carrying out the following procedure(s).
Note: The fence rail needs to be positioned correctly for the
scale to read accurately. Even when correctly adjusted the
scale should always be regarded as a useful cutting guide. The
scale does not supplant the need for accurate marking out.
• Locate the rip fence (C) in the fence rail to the RH side of the
blade.
• Raise the saw blade (refer to OPERATION; RAISING/
LOWERING THE BLADE).
• Slide the rip fence along the fence rail until it rests against
the raised saw blade.
• Look through the rip fence magnifier.
• Slightly Loosen the three coach bolts (G) which hold the
fence rail to the machine.
• Gently move the fence rail to the right or left until the '0'
