3. Installation

The installation must be carried out according to
local regulations and directives.
Please note that all Sololift+ models must be
accessible for maintenance and repair. Engineers
will not be able to carry out service or repair of the
unit without easy access.

3.1 Electrical installation

The electrical installation must only be carried
out by trained personnel.
Sololift+ D-3 must be connected to a voltage
supply according to the nameplate.
The installation must include an earth
leakage circuit breaker for protection
against earth fault currents. This
ensures protection when using a
Schuko plug or another alternative to a
plug with earth pin.
Sololift+ D-3 must be connected to a
mains switch with a minimum contact
gap of 3 mm in all poles.
The lifting station must be protected
against water splashes in accordance
with regulations.

3.1.2 Motor protection

In case of overtemperature a thermal
overload switch cuts out the motor and
cuts it in when the motor has cooled
sufficiently.

3.2 Mechanical installation

The cabinet shower must have an approved water
trap.
It is advisable to install a strainer in the outlet grating
of the cabinet shower for collection of hair.
The floor fittings L must be fitted to prevent uplift in
case the room is flooded.

3.2.1 Installation underneath the cabinet shower
The cabinet shower bottom must be at least 145 mm
above the floor to provide space for Sololift+ D-3.
Note: A minimum 400 mm long and 145 mm high
plate must provide access to Sololift+ D-3.
It must be possible to remove it only by means of
tools. Do not fit the plate until all pipes and
connections are tight.
Fit sleeve A to the connection for cabinet shower and
to a flexible ∅40 tube/hose. Secure the sleeve using
clips C. The tube/hose must be so long that Sololift+
D-3 can be pulled out for cleaning and maintenance.

3.2.2 Installation next to the cabinet shower
Fit sleeve A to the connection for cabinet shower and
to the discharge pipe from the cabinet shower, ∅40,
see fig. 1. Secure the sleeve by means of clips C.
Sololift+ D-3 must be positioned 60 mm lower than
the outlet of the cabinet shower
