j) Assembling the Main Landing Gear
Install the wheels and the shock absorbers to the main landing gear
with adjustment rings as shown in figure 7a. Screw connections metal/
metal without stop nuts must be secured with threadlocker varnish.
Install the main landing gear to the fuselage with 2 x 10 mm screws
and the plastic clamps (figure 7b, item 1). For this, the hard wood guides
must be cleared of the iron-on foil first.
Then install the shock absorbers at the right and left to the fuselage
with thread-cutting screws 1.5 x 8 mm (figure 7b, item 2). For this, pre-
drill the holes in a position in the fuselage where the matching hard-
wood blocks are glued on on the inside.
k) Mounting the Elevator and Rudder Servos
Install the servos for elevator and rudders as shown in figure 8.
If you want to equip your model with a combustion engine,
you need to install a third servo for carburetor control to
the servo tray.
Depending on this, the installation position of all 3 servos
must be adjusted to the respective requirements.
