This water heater is design – certified by CSA International as a non – direct vented water heater , which takes its combustion
air, either from the installation area or from air ducted to the unit from outside.
This appliance must be installed in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, the National Fuel Gas Code,
ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 or CSA B149.1, Natural Gas and Propane Installation Codes.
