7. Seal gaps between frame and façade
with silicone.
8. Slide external cover [1] into guide rails
of frame from front and then press
external cover down onto frame.
9. Secure external cover to frame with
screw supplied.
i The external cover of Maico is fully
stainless. Due to external
influences (e.g. sulfur dioxide or
salt in the air, ferruginous dust,
etc.) even stainless steel can rust.
We therefore recommend to thoroughly
clean the external cover before
acceptance of the objet (remove dust or
finger prints) and to treat the cover with a
bit of oil (e.g. stainless steel care oil).
7.6 Frame of PP 60 K-SE internal
cover
1. Remove plaster protective cover on
inside if necessary.
2. Check angle of inclination of fitted wall
sleeve. There must be an inclination
of 1...2 % to the outside.
3. Take internal cover [9] off frame of
internal cover [7].

4. Align frame of internal cover [7]
horizontally and centred in the middle
to the wall insulation sleeve [11].
5. Use dowels and screws (6 mm in
diameter, provided by customer) to
secure frame to internal wall.
7.7 PP 60 K-SE ventilation unit
1. Remove plaster protective cover on
inside if necessary.
2. Place G3 external filter [4] (optional
M6) on slide-in module [5] and turn
down pasting lugs. The pasting frame
must be facing the slide-in module.
3. Place G3 internal filter [6] (optional
M6) on slide-in module [5] and turn
down pasting lugs. The pasting frame
must be facing the slide-in module.
4. Slide slide-in module [5] including
filter, heat exchanger and EC fan into
wall insulation sleeve [11]. Consider
the sticker „Unten/Bottom/ Bas". The
heat exchanger must be facing you.
5. Seal ventilation unit with internal
cover [9].
 You will hear it engage.
8. Electrical connection
(specialist installer)
● Only qualified electricians are permitted
to make the electrical connections, in
compliance with the wiring diagrams
below.
● Make sure to observe the relevant
regulations for electrical installation; in
Germany this is particularly VDE 0100
with the corresponding parts.
● Check the mains supply to the building
before commissioning. This must comply
