3. Place soffit element termination [14]
on soffit duct.
4. Fix soffit element termination to soffit
duct with the four self-tapping screws.
5. Place perforated plate grille [12] in the
soffit element termination.
6. Secure perforated plate grille with the
two screws provided.
7. Seal coupling between sleeve [17]
and wall insulation sleeve [11] with
silicone.
8. Have a specialist insulate space
between soffit duct and external wall.
9. Use the fastening lugs [15] and
polystyrene / insulation material
dowels
(5 mm in diameter, provided by
customer) to fix soffit duct to
insulation. Be sure to produce a
1...2 % inclination towards the
condensation drip edge [13].
Condensation can drain out via the
drip edge.
10. Have a specialist insulate space
between soffit duct and external
plastering.
7.5 PP 60 KA-SR external cover
Undertake these steps if a
PP 60 KA-SR is being mounted.
1. Remove plaster protective cover on
outside if necessary.

2. Use hand saw or similar to saw off
upper half of wall insulation sleeve
flush with plaster.
The bottom, longer half of the wall
insulation sleeve serves as a
condensation drip edge.
3. Seal drip edge of wall insulation
sleeve on outside with silicone.
4. Place frame of external cover [2] on
bottom half of wall insulation sleeve
[11].
5. Align frame of external cover [2] and
air deflector [3] horizontally and
centred in the middle to the wall
insulation sleeve.
6. Use dowels and screws (6 mm in
diameter, provided by customer) to
secure frame of external cover [2] and
air deflector [3] to external wall.
