Ensure minimum spacing of 300 mm
between the ceiling and centre of the wall
opening and minimum spacing of 200 mm
between the side and centre of the wall
opening.
The wall opening (core drill hole) must be
at least 220 mm in diameter.
The minimum wall thickness must be 270
mm.

7. Mounting (specialist installer)
7.1 Information
DANGER
Danger from electric shock!
Deactivate the fuse in the fuse box and
protect against being accidentally switched
back on. Fit a warning notice on the fuse
box.

Installation work may only be carried out
by authorised specialists.
●
Make sure there is sufficient working
space in front of the unit, e.g. for filter
changing.
●
In order to avoid any smells, there
should be sufficient space between the
outside air inlet for the ventilation unit
and the sewerage vent on the roof.
●
Select the installation position so that
contamination and draughts are
avoided.
●
Recommendation for the prevention of
dirt deposits on the façade near the
external cowl: Fit a water-repellent
plastering system to the façade.
●
Produce a core drill hole with a
1...2 % inclination from the inside out.
Condensation can then drain outwards
and drip off via the drip edge of the
external cover.
●
Do not fit the units and room air control
near showers (no splash protection).
7.2 Wall insulation sleeve
