Gas Connection Requirements
Before connecting this appliance to the gas supply piping
system, confirm installation meets the requirements of local
codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the National
Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1-Latest Edition. In Canada
installation must conform with local codes or the current
Natural Gas Installation Code CAN/CGA-B149.1.

Gas supply must be located in the area shown below.
Gas connection must not interfere with the electrical
connection.

Gas Supply Pressure
CAUTION
To avoid property damage, maximum gas supply
pressure must not exceed 14 " WCP.
• Appliance and individual shutoff valve must be discon-
nected from the gas supply piping system during any
pressure testing of that system at test pressures in
excess of ½ psig (3.5kPa)(14" WCP).
• Appliance must be isolated from gas supply piping
system by closing manual shutoff valve during any
pressure testing of the gas supply piping system at
test pressures equal to or less than ½ psig (3.5kPa)
(14" WCP).
• Gas supply pressure for checking regulator setting
must be at least 1" WCP above manifold pressure
shown on rating label.

Remove rear cover to expose pressure regulator.
