9.1 Setting the background light-

X Set the background lighting via the
LIGHT ADMIN app.
9.2 Setting the background light-
ing | On the module
NOTE: Waldmann luminaires are availa-
ble with two different operating concepts:
Operating concept "Separately oper-
ƒ
ated luminaire" (standard for LED lumi-
naires, for example LAVIGO, LAVIGO VTL,
ATARO LED and TYCOON LED)
Operating concept "Synchronously
ƒ
operated luminaire" (optional and with
fluorescent lamps, for example ATARO
and TYCOON)
Setting the background lighting of a sep-
arately operated luminaire
Prerequisites:
The indirect light of the luminaire is on
ƒ
The direct light of the luminaire is off
ƒ
With LAVIGO VTL: During the setting
ƒ
of the background lighting, the "VTL"
parameter is deactivated, see operat-
ing instructions POWER control unit
type III.
X Dim the indirect light of the luminaire
until the work area is illuminated with
the required brightness. For more
details on this, please read the instruc-
tions for use of the luminaire.

X Press the "learn" key and keep it
depressed for 10 to 15 seconds until
the "learn" LED starts flashing slowly,
see Fig. 19.
The set brightness is saved as back-
ground lighting.
The luminaire switches again to work
lighting, which can again be set as
desired.
Setting the background lighting of a syn-
chronously operated ATARO luminaire
X Dim the luminaire until the work area
is illuminated with the required bright-
ness. For more details on this, please
read the instructions for use of the
luminaire.
