Connection
6.2
Connecting the module to an
ATARO or TYCOON luminaire
When the module is connected to the lumi-
naire, various presettings are automatically
transmitted from the module to the lumi-
naire, such as the lighting levels. In addi-
tion, all luminaires to which a module has
been connected start communicating with
one another automatically.
NOTES:
The presettings are transmitted only
when the module is connected for the
first time if the "mode" slide switch is
set to position 1. If you want to con-
nect the same module to a different
luminaire, you must reset the module,
see chapter 13 "Performing a reset" ,
page 55.
The delivery includes several connect-
ing lines in different lengths. Use the
shortest connecting line possible for
your luminaire model.

X Slide the "mode" slide switch to posi-
tion 1, see Fig. 6.
NOTE: 30 seconds after commissioning,
the "mode" slide switch can be set to posi-
tion 0 to enable configuring of the swarm
control via the app.

X Connect one end of the connecting line
to the "module control" interface on the
module, see Fig. 7
NOTE: Depending on the equipment of
the luminaire, the connecting line must
be connected to a different interface in
the luminaire head. During the follow-
ing work, make sure that you are using
the interface provided for your lumi-
naire model.

and luminaires with HFMD sensor
X For luminaires with HFMD sensor:
Connect the other end of the connect-
ing line to the interface A "R/TxD0" on
the luminaire control B in the luminaire
head, see Fig. 8.
X With dimmable luminaires: Connect
the other end of the connecting line to
the interface A "R/TxD0" on the lumi-
naire control B in the luminaire head,
see Fig. 8.
