Standard Programmable Features
Scan
Your radio is equipped with scan, which allows you to search for activity on multiple channels. When
activity is found on a channel, the radio locks on and suspends scanning. NOTE: Scan will always
search for and go directly to a priority channel, even if scan has locked onto another channel.

Press to activate Scan Mode.
Lights to indicate Scan Mode is activated.
"SCAN" is displayed on your channel display. When activity is found during scan, the active chan-
nel is displayed. If activity is found on your priority channel, "PRIORITY" and the active channel will
alternately be displayed.

Press again to deactivate Scan Mode.
Taking the microphone off hook during the scan operation temporarily suspends scanning and the radio
returns to the "home channel." For the radio to scan, the microphone must be on hook.
Blinks when you take the microphone off-hook.

Exploration
Votre radio est dotée d'une fonction d'exploration vous permettant de vérifier l'activité sur plusieurs
canaux. Lorsqu'une activité est détectée sur un canal, la radio se verrouille et met fin à l'exploration.
NOTA : Le mode exploration recherche toujours un canal prioritaire et se dirige vers ce canal, même si
l'exploration se verrouille sur un autre canal.

Appuyez sur pour activer le mode exploration.
Clignote pour indiquer que le mode exploration est activé.
Le message « EXPLORATION » (SCAN) s'affiche sur votre afficheur de canal. Lorsqu'une activité
est détectée au cours de l'exploration, le canal actif s'affiche. Si une activité est détectée sur votre
canal prioritaire, le message « PRIORITÉ » (PRIORITY) et le canal actif s'afficheront en alternance.

Appuyez sur pour désactiver le mode exploration.
L'action de décrocher le microphone pendant l'exploration suspend temporairement l'exploration et la radio
retourne au « canal principal ». Le microphone doit être raccroché pour que l'exploration ait lieu.
Clignote lorsque vous décrochez le microphone.
